MY 49-B HEIRLOOM KITCHEN NOSTALGIC EXPERIENCE

Looking for a place to eat and feel relaxed at the same time?

I had the chance to dine here at HEIRLOOMS KITCHEN this month. The very first thing that came out to my mind just by entering the restaurant is that the place was very homey, relaxing, and welcoming.

The warm feeling of the place was really good and you can’t feel the heat outside the restaurant. You will instantly feel right at home and at ease just by entering the place.

First things first, I asked for the menu and the only problem I encountered upon dining at this place is that you will have a hard time choosing what to order. Everything in their menu sounded awesome and appetizing!!!

Here are the few dishes that I ordered:

1. SOUP OF THE DAY

Can you guess what was their soup of the day that I had?

Luckily, it was my favorite PUMPKIN SOUP! Well honestly, I was really hoping to get a pumpkin soup during my first try at Heirloom Restaurant. The soup was good and creamy. It's just that I think it could be more delicious if they will add a little bit of milk to balance the creamy taste of the pumpkin soup. Actually, a pumpkin soup is something I always look forward to having during my first time visits in a restaurant.

2. SQUASH FLOWER FRITTERS

This is actually a Deep-fried squash flowers stuffed with herb cheddar cheese served with marinara sauce. I got curious by this dish because I don't usually eat Squash Flowers. But believe me guys, the burst of flavor from the herb cheese of this Squash Flower Fritters is well complimented with their home-made marinara sauce. This dish is actually a good find for me!

3. GAMBAS AL AJILLO

This dish is composed of Prawns sautéed in garlic, chillies and Spanish paprika. This is really a must-try food for me! It also comes with some toasted baguette.

4. OSSO BUCO

This dish contains Slow-simmered beef shanks in tomato sauce topped with gremolata. Served with buttered vegetables and roasted garlic. This Osso Buco was one of the meals that really hit that nostalgia high, this is definitely a great food to have on a cool rainy or even sunny days. This one was my favorite!!!

The delicious taste and looks of the dishes that this restaurant serve was really nostalgic of the meals you could get from your grandma's recipes - but done with the heirloom restaurant's elegant twist.

The menu of this restaurant offers delish dishes that I really wanted to try almost everything! All of their foods are so mouth-watering!

The servers were really friendly and accommodating as well. I also think that the owner is roaming around and checking on the diners every once in awhile, which I think is a good thing for them to have a chance to mingle and interact with their diners and have their opinions about the foods that they serve as well.

I must say that 49-B Heirloom Kitchen is definitely a good find and worth recommending to all my families and friends. Ohh, Take note of the picture perfect elegant ambiance the place offers. What more can you ask for.

I highly recommend this place. They are open from 10:00 A.M to 11:00 P.M.

The only downside here is the parking space, you have to wait for an available parking or just look for some place nearby where you can park your car, but overall it was really a great dining experience.

Will definitely come back here again and try the other food on their menu.
